This one day course teaches the fundamentals of air movement in residential structures and explores how ventilation relates to overall air leakage. Participants learn equipment setup of blower doors and duct testers including proper manometer and hose setup; equipment readings are compared to both the 2009 and 2012 codes. This course covers the major leakage areas found in homes and tyoical solutions. This course is approved for 3.75 BPI CEUs and 8 KY HVAC CEUs. Note: The BPI IDL certification is a separate test with an additional fee.
