In this four day course students learn to use Windows-based National Energy Audit Tool (NEAT) and Manufactured Home Energy Audit (MHEA) software. These advanced energy audit computer programs identify the cost-effective energy efficiency retrofit measures needed in a home. The software for use in site-built single-family homes (NEAT) and mobile homes (MHEA) was designed to consider local climate, retrofit costs, fuel costs and specific construction details to calculate the cost-effectiveness of retrofit measures.
